Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Warehouse Administrator to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for order processing, picking and dispatch, stock control, and general warehouse administration.
This role requires strong organizational skills, accuracy, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining compliance with health, safety, and ISO standards.
Key Responsibilities
Order Processing
- Receive orders from Internal Sales
- Verify order details and ensure COAs are attached
- Process and print picking slips and delivery notes
- Follow up with Internal Sales on missing or unclear order information or unavailable products
Picking and Dispatch
- Ensure orders are picked accurately and on time
- Double-check products and quantities before dispatch
- Label and prepare orders for delivery or collection
- Assist with receiving and unpacking incoming stock/containers
- Plan weekly delivery schedules
- Organize transporters when required
Stock Control
- Monitor stock levels and update systems regularly
- Record daily stock movements and share updates with the team
- Conduct stock counts and record shortages or damages
- Manage NCA stock returns and segregation
- Maintain a neat, tidy, and safe warehouse environment
- Follow up on uncollected stock with Internal Sales
- Raise purchase orders when levels are low
Scope for Growth
- Handle production orders, goods receipts/issues, and stock revaluations
- Execute administrative functions in the warehouse
- Ensure adherence to Occupational Health and Safety standards
- Ensure compliance with ISO procedures for documentation and recordkeeping
- Assist with filing and general administration
- Maintain motor vehicle files and manage related administration
- Keep licenses and regulatory records up to date
- Facilitate training documentation related to employee roles and legislative requirements
- Process cycle and monthly stock take on the system
- Order consumables and non-stock items approved by the Warehouse Manager
- Process SAP transactions accurately
- Print and manage delivery notes
- Scan and save COAs to shared drives
- Process returned stock on SAP the same day it is received
- Ensure timely submission of original paperwork to Head Office
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- 1–3 years relevant warehouse administration experience
- Tertiary education advantageous
- Experience with SAP transactions preferred
- Strong knowledge of warehouse processes and stock control
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
