JOB SUMMARY:
Our client in the warehousing industry is seeking an experienced warehouse / hub manager to join their team in Chatsworth in Kwazulu-Natal.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Email Subject: Warehouse / Hub Manager.
At least 8-10years’ experience in Supply Chain Warehouse Management or equivalent.
Senior Certificate.
Detailed up to date CV.
Separately from the CV attached all relevant documents.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS:

Must read / write & speak English.
Proficient at planning, organising, leading, and controlling.
Must be able to work in a challenging labour environment.
Agile and proactive.
Detailed oriented.
Proficient across a broad range of end user programmes.
Excellent problem -solving skills.
Must be computer literate.
Well-presented appearance (Clean and neat).

EXPERIENCE:

The individual we are looking to employ MUST meet the minimum requirements and under no circumstances will exceptions be made.
The successful candidate will be required to:
To lead and manage a team of drivers and supervisors to successfully meet all Takealot and its subsidiaries customer and business service level requirements.
To manage the activities that will ensure the on- time, in- full delivery of all customer orders.
To this end, the responsibility will include managing the operational processes, planning, control and performance of the teams who execute.
Customer service levels to be maintained- i.e. zero tolerance for not following SOP’s.
Deliver against Hub Manager scorecard.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

Appropriate school level grade (NQF3 or matric) or at least 8 -10 years’ experience in Supply Chain Operations or equivalent.
Be an operations business partner to the franchisee.
Expert at planning, organising, leading, and controlling.
Cost management.
Strong people management and stakeholder engagement including supplier.
Must be able to work in a challenging labour environment.
Agile and proactive.
Detailed oriented and strong analytical skills.
Proficient across a broad range of end user programmes.
Excellent problem -solving skills.
Ability to inspire to attract and retain staff.
Engage, manage and retain IC’s and staff C2 General.
