JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager who has managed a large Warehouse (2000 sqm) with high SKU's (52 000 stock codes).

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Operational responsibility

Managing the receiving, storage, dispatch, kitting and distribution operation
Managing group fleet operation and 3rd party service providers
Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
Assure real time visibility and accuracy to WMS & ERP systems
Establish the layout to ensure efficient space utilisation
Employee management
Liaise with internal and external customers, suppliers and transport companies

Health and safety

Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
Manage the operation in compliance with company’s policies and vision

Team leadership

Team development aligned to business strategy
KPI development and performance management
On the job training
Recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employee

Planning and reporting

Establish short and long terms plans for improvement
Prepare and manage budgets
Create visibility through regular reporting on Key performance areas
