Warehouse Supervisor

SUMMARY:
A leading company in the engineering, mining, electrical, and construction sectors is looking to appoint a hands-on and experienced Warehouse Supervisor at their Benoni facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse operations, inventory control, and team supervision, with experience working on Syspro.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and the dispatch of stock.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stock management.
• Supervise warehouse staff and enforce compliance with safety and operational procedures.
• Monitor and manage stock movement, reporting discrepancies and coordinating regular stock takes.
• Operate or supervise the use of forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
• Utilize Syspro for tracking inventory, managing orders, and generating reports.
• Ensure that goods are handled and stored in line with industry and company standards.
• Support continuous improvement in warehouse workflows and space optimization.

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a warehouse supervisory role.
• Experience in engineering, mining, electrical, or construction industries is strongly preferred.
• Proven experience with Syspro or similar ERP systems.
• Strong knowledge of stock control, warehouse operations, and health and safety regulations.
• Forklift license preferred.
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
