Our client, a well-established Transport and Logistics Company, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join their team,

Location: Cape Town International

Job type: Permanent On-site

Duties and Responsibilities

Collection and hand over of Job sheets for Operations
Giving instruction to the Team Leaders for the moves of the day
Ensuring that the warehouse is keep in order as per the AMOSA/FAIM requirements
Ensuring that packing materials is always in stock
Ensuring that the records of goods incoming and outgoing of the warehouse are kept updated.
Ensure inventory is marked and stores correctly in the warehouse
Measuring a consignment
Ensuring that the storage pallet records are up to date.
Stack volumes on all shipments received into store
Supervising the loading of containers
Receiving/dispatching of packing materials

Minimum Requirements

Matric certificate
Previous experience in Warehouse Management an advantage.
Forklift license
Driver’s license
Excel
word

Skills

Good telephone communication skills
Accuracy with figures
