Warehouse Supervisor

Duties and responsibilities

• Daily capturing of all paint mixing in the Paint Bay
• Monthly capturing and investigation of Color matching report
• Monitor section activities
• Check daily transfers from the Mixing Bay solvent plant and investigate where discrepancies are
• Ensure monthly stock counts are done in the Mixing Bay and captured

Warehouse , Stores & Branch transfers

• Manage the staff for best productivity
• Ensure all stock are labelled before leaving the Warehouse area
• All stock in the back stores packed and labelled correctly
• Ensure the Marking area is empty by COB every day
• Take disciplinary action when necessary
• Ensure all received stock are double checked
• Do spot checks on received stock
• Ensure all branch requests are done timeously and correct stock are send to branches and all stock received correctly from branches
• Report all damages from suppliers and couriers and ensure it is finalized

Stock counts

• Plan stock counts for the Merchandiser and double check variances
• Do stock counts daily
• Do daily Negative report with Merchandiser

General

• Ad hoc Reports as / when required
• Ensure OHASA is in place and adhere to
• Ensure Picking and dispatching for Trade Centre customers are accurate

Experience

1. 2 years in a Supervisory Supply Chain position (RETAIL highly advantageous)
2. Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain / Logistics would be advantageous
3. Computer literacy – excel
4. Driver’s license
