SUMMARY:
New role is available for a Warehouse Team Leader for our client in the Automotive/Manufacturing industry, based in Gqeberha.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Skills & Knowledge Required

Grade 12 with Mathematics or equivalent
Minimum 2 years’ Supervisor/Management experience
Managerial, Supervisory, or Logistics qualification
Driver’s license (advantageous)
Valid Forklift License (required)
Experience with product-on-hand processes (advantageous)
Above-average computer literacy, particularly in Excel

Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong multi-tasking capability
High sense of urgency with meticulous attention to detail

Key Performance Areas

Manage and oversee the performance of the team
Compile daily reports and take corrective action when targets are not met
Conduct manpower planning and ensure workstation ergonomics
Oversee scrap management and maintain quality supervision
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and HR procedures and regulations
Maintain high housekeeping and operational standards
Assist with WIP (Work in Progress) and sorting activities
