JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Water Plant Manager, for a permanent vacancy based near Kriel, Mpumalanga

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

BSC Chemical Engineering / S4 /Chemical Engineering Diploma
Skilled in water and effluent water management and able to analyze & interpret data pertaining to optimizing plant health and equipment life span
Relevant management experience
Sound understanding of equipment preventative maintenance
Good computer skills

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

Ensure compliance to safety standards and ensuring client satisfaction
Maintain effective admin and control procedures
Optimize the use of financial resources through cost control (including stock control and efficient chemical dosing)
Detailed records and reporting on all aspects on ongoing projects and maintenance
Ensure resource management of employees
Compile monthly plant reports and attend client meetings
Monitor plant health and intervene to ensure plant availability is optimized
Control budget and ensure contractual requirements are satisfied
Manage and maintain ISO 9000, 1400 and 18001 systems
