Our client operates within the wealth management and financial services sector and is seeking a Wealth Assistant to provide administrative and operational support to Wealth Planners and Advisors. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth implementation of client investment instructions, preparation of client reviews, and ongoing servicing of a sophisticated client base. The successful candidate will act as a key support function within the wealth team, assisting with new business implementation, client administration, portfolio reviews, and general wealth management support activities. You will work closely with advisors, service providers, and clients to ensure exceptional service delivery and efficient execution of client instructions. This opportunity is ideally suited to a highly organised individual with experience within the investment or wealth management industry who enjoys working in a fast-paced, client-centric environment and wants to further develop their career within financial services. Key Responsibilities Process new business for new and existing clients. Implement client investment and insurance instructions in consultation with the Advisor. Submit relevant documentation to service providers and obtain implementation confirmations. Communicate implementation updates and confirmations to clients. Gather and analyse investment values, fund performance statistics, and relevant client information. Prepare, compile, and coordinate client review documentation and proposals. Facilitate payments on behalf of clients through corporate saver accounts. Schedule meetings and manage advisor diaries. Record client interactions and maintain accurate client records. Update and maintain client databases in accordance with company policies. Perform beneficiary risk ratings and screenings. Assist with wealth management projects and ad hoc initiatives. Proactively manage workflow and ensure all client instructions are executed efficiently and accurately. Job Experience and Skills Required Matric (essential). 2-3 years' experience within the investment or financial services industry. Previous administrative experience within financial services is essential. Strong working knowledge of investment products and financial service provider processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Fluent in both Afrikaans and English. Ability to navigate and utilise service provider platforms and online systems effectively. Excellent organisational and administrative capabilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional accuracy.
