Wealth Manager

Our client, a boutique wealth and investment firm based in Claremont, Cape Town is looking to recruit an accomplished wealth manager. This role is a client-facing & front-office role as a wealth manager who will manage an existing client book of relationships, providing comprehensive advice and a broad range of investment tailored investment & wealth services & products to the complex of retirees, high-network & wealthy private clients.

Job Duties:

Achieving and exceeding specific individual and market asset and revenue targets

Introducing market-leading products, tailored solutions, and services supported by a holistic advisory approach high net worth clients

Deliver and execute solid & specialist knowledge and product expertise in developing solutions for clients in the creation, management, and transfer of their personal wealth

Meet with existing book of clients, conducting a detailed financial analysis in order to determine advice on personal wealth portfolios, retirement planning, insurance and estate planning.

Proven track record of solid expertise in referral acquisition and management of wealth for clients

Propose personalised recommendations in respect of growth opportunities, taking cognisance of each client’s risk profile and financial needs.

Executing and implementing an ongoing private client service plan in order to ensure client portfolios are regularly monitored and relevant modification timeously executed

An exceptional professional work ethic and performance fully in line with compliance standards and regulatory policies / standards

Excellent client and service orientation as well as outstanding communication skills when interacting with sophisticated entrepreneurs & clients

Relationship management

Conducting annual reviews

Upselling and cross selling across all platforms

Maintain and grow book of clients

Qualifications & Experience:

Matric

RE 1or 5

120 Credits or Recognised tertiary qualification in a finance related field such as a BCom, BBusSc or a wealth management/investment management qualification recognized by the FSCA

A completed Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning / Economics / Investment Management would be advantageou

Minimum 3-5 years'' experience as a Private Client Wealth Manager / Financial Advisor / , with experience in high and ultra-high net wealth investment advisory and planning, financial planning and estates planning
