Overview
Our client, a well-established brick manufacturing plant based in Elliott, is seeking an experienced and hands-on Welder to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and ensuring the smooth operation of brick plant machinery and general plant infrastructure. This role requires a practical individual with solid welding skills and general maintenance experience.
Minimum Requirements
- Proven welding experience (essential)
- Solid general maintenance knowledge
- Experience working with brick plant machinery or heavy industrial machinery (advantageous)
- Practical hands-on experience
Job Responsibilities
- Perform routine and breakdown maintenance on brick plant machinery
- Carry out welding repairs and fabrication as required
- Maintain mechanical equipment to minimize downtime
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections
- Identify faults and implement effective solutions
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe condition
- Always adhere to health and safety regulations
- Assist with general plant maintenance as required
