Welder/ Fabricator: Saudi Arabia

SUMMARY:
Our client in the mining industry is urgently looking to appoint a Welder/ Fabricator in their Company in Saudi Arabia in the middle East.

POSITION INFO:

The successful incumbent will be responsible for maintaining plant and equipment according to technical requirements.

Desired Experience and qualifications:

• Entry level up to 5 -10 years’ experience
• 5 years working experience.
• English Language Proficiency
• Time management skills
• Fabrication / Welder certificate

Health, Safety and Legal Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance Health and Safety responsibilities
• Identify hazards and risk while performing daily tasks and maintenance and take preventative measures.
• Do FLRA.
• Comply with legislative and operational requirements.
• Adhere to the company''s environmental management program.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and enhance Structure components.
• Inspect, Weld and Fabricate components for Plant like Chutes, Liners, Pipes and structures.
• Perform all work in a manner that meets the codes, blueprints, and standards of Plant.
• Complete required documentation of repairs and service information
• Perform preventative maintenance on Plants and components.
• Troubleshoot problems and make timely repairs.
• Comfortable reading and understanding blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
• Working knowledge of Fabrication theory, and the associated principles, materials, and equipment
• Supports the achievement of engineering availability and production performance levels.
• Ensure that maintenance related information is recorded and reported to the relevant planning office to support the maintenance of the planned/asset maintenance system.
• Participate in cost saving initiatives and adhere to financial procedures.
• Communicate with supervisors and process/engineering co-workers to inform on work in progress and condition of machinery/equipment.
• Ensure adherence to engineering quality standards in maintenance of equipment and machinery.
