Welder/ Heavy Fleet Maintenance

SUMMARY:
Our well known client in the FMCG Sector based in Humansdorp is seeking to employ a Welder/ Heavy Fleet Maintenance

POSITION INFO:

Key Performance Areas: The successful candidate will be reporting to the Workshop Foreman and will be responsible for the maintenance of current structural steel work and the manufacturing of new steel projects according to the manufacturer''s safety specifications, and or any other tasks required within the Logistics department.

 

Knowledge and Skills: The successful candidate must be in possession of an approved Grade 12 certificate or an equivalent thereof and have good communication skills. The successful candidate must have at least 2 years welding experience in steel and stainless-steel projects, installations, repair, and maintenance work.  This includes having experience in the different types of welding, gas and plasma cutting and braising. This candidate must be able to work unsupervised and possess a valid Code 08 driver''s license.  This position requires standby and overtime to be worked, depending on requirements.
