SUMMARY:
A leader in the FMCG / manufacturing industry has a vacancy for a trade tested Welder in the Helderberg area in the Western Cape.
POSITION INFO:
The ideal candidate should have the ability to work from technical specifications / drawings and a thorough understanding of weld symbols; have practical experience working with a variety of welding equipment (metal, inert gas, tungsten, shielded metal arc welding); and be knowledgeable on materials such as stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminium.
A background in machine building, modifying existing machinery to suit factory working conditions, fabricating frames and attending to machine breakdowns in need of welding is a prerequisite.
Candidates should have Matric or an N qualification with Mathematics, as well as a Red Seal trade test in Welding.
