Introduction:
Our client operates a full-spectrum engineering business, covering design, plant modelling, procurement, turn-key project management, construction, installation, commissioning, boiler service and maintenance, boiler call-outs, pressure vessel & boiler statutory inspections, supply of burner management systems, steam trap audits, valve repair & testing, rigging and they are in urgent need of a Welding Engineer
Requirements:
- Matric / Grade 12
- B Eng in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised institution
- Professional registration with IWE (International Welding Engineer)
- Min 5 – 10 years’ working experience within a factory environment
- Sound knowledge of ASME, Pressure vessels, ISO and EN Codes
- Knowledge and experience in boiler plant would also be advantageous
- Experience with repairs to pressure equipment
- Must have valid Driver’s License and own vehicle
