SUMMARY:
Automotive manufacturing industry experience with relevant qualifications and at least 3 years' Welding Supervisor background will be ideal. Knowledge of Method Mag, CO2. TIG and resistance welding as well as Solid Works, Towbar fatigue testing and robotic welding is essential.

Requirements:

  • Completed training as a welding engineer
  • Professional experience in the industrial environment, particularly  in the automotive industry
  • At least 3 years of experience as a welding supervisor
  • Analytical and cost-oriented work
  • Broad and application-ready knowledge base on relevant standards
  • Extensive knowledge of the state of the art in automation and control technology
  • Extensive knowledge of METHOD MAG and resistance welding
  • Method MAG (CO2), TIG and Resistance
  • Knowledge of Solid Works
  • Knowledge of Towbar fatigue testing
  • Knowledge of Robotic Welding
  • Must have good MS-Office and knowledge of AutoCad
  • Must be independent and goal-oriented work
  • Good English written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to speak German it will be an advantage 
  • Work science and business knowledge

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support of the project team for the cost and production
  • Optimized development of our products
  • Documentation on production process including machine setting data for welding processes
  • Procurement of the necessary operating and manufacturing equipment
  • Support for the development of databases and the database connection of welding systems
  • Appointment tracking during equipment creation and release to production
  • Uncovering potential for improvement and drawing up proposals
  • Active cooperation in optimizing the manufacturing layout, material flow and technological processes.
  • Professional management and management of employees and cooperation with executives
  • Conducting training for welding staff
  • Ensuring welding suitability and occupational safety
  • Preparation and management of welding instructions, monitoring and examination documents
  • externally oriented active cooperation with suppliers, partners and customers
  • Active influence in the product and process development process, in particular on component and equipment design
  • Experiments on the behaviour of different materials during welding
  • Process and quality planning as well as co-design of investment and factory planning
  • Targeted welding data acquisition and evaluation
  • Process development with adaptation for component-specific aspects
