WHEEL FINISHING COORDINATOR
The company is looking for a competent and motivated person who can ensure BORBET SA’s Wheel Finishing Department achieves daily set targets.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Drive/Ensure Production supervisors achieve daily set targets in line with the company and department goals and objectives as agreed upon between Senior management.
- Responsible for summarizing, analysing and generating downtime reports of all shifts OEE sheets, taking correct actions and/or escalating to service departments should target not be achieved.
- New wheel development (APQP and customer specific requirements)
- Continuous improvement in production processes and equipment
- Assist and coordinate Maintenance when it comes to downtime on machinery or planned maintenance
- Project management of all new development in Wheel finishing department
- Controlling of all consumables
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Tertiary education in the field of Production (ND or BTech) is required.
- Technical background advantages
- 3 years' experience in a Supervisory position is essential.
- Ability to track sample manufacturing process entirely
- Strong problem-solving skills and technical background.
- Experience in Pre & Post and Wheel finishing departments would be advantageous.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Interacting with computers – Using computer systems to program, enter data or process information
- Knowledge of relevant management systems (e.g. ISO 9001, IATF16949)
- Making decisions and solving problems – Analysing and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems
- Drafting, laying out and specifying technical devices, parts and equipment – Providing documentation, detailed instructions, or specifications to tell others about how devices, parts, equipment, or structures are to be modified, maintained, install or used.
- Analysing data and process information
- Communication to superiors, co-workers and maintenance regarding information on all machinery.
- Identifying objectives, actions and events – categorizing, ideas, recognizing differences or similarities, and detecting changes in circumstances or events
- Evaluating information to determine compliance with standards – Using relevant information to determine whether events or processes comply with regulations and standards
- Monitor processes, materials and surroundings – monitoring information from materials, events to detect or assess problems
- Documenting and recording of information
