SUMMARY:
Wind Energy Sales Engineer

POSITION INFO:
JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES ·         Promote and sell all industrial services portfolio in statutory and non-statutory services rendered in Manufacturing, Mining, Energy and other relevant industry sectors.
·         Weekly submission of opportunities plan and sales pipeline forecast reports to Area Sales Manager.
·         Weekly reporting on industry updates, sales activities and market intelligence.
·         Weekly management and updating of CRM (Salesforce).
·         Collaborate with the internal business units for customer account management activities.
·         Present Inspection Services portfolio to potential clients through direct communication in telephone calls, video conference, emails and face to face meetings.
·         Responsible to develop new enquires, maintain new and existing customer enquiries and manage sales pipeline.
·         Professional relationship management with clients in the areas of industry sectors.
·         Planning and scheduling of client visits and follow-up meetings.
·         Identify cross selling opportunities for the different business lines and allocate to the respective business units.
·         Participate and find opportunities in Industry specific seminars, conference and webinars.
·         Preparation of commercial aspects of proposals and tenders to various clients and closure of sales opportunities.
·         Responsible for achievement of individual assigned sales targets.

· Any other ad hoc tasks as requested by Management. Requirements:
Matric certificate.
Applicable Diploma or Engineering Degree - Electrical
A minimum of 5 years commercial Solar system design, permitting, construction, commissioning and O&M
Thorough understanding of the energy environment in South Africa (Nersa, IPP)
Experience in providing technical support energy related projects with accountability for project performance and design.
