Workshop Foreman – Automotive Industry (George)

Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, hire, and motivate qualified service technicians.
- Assist technicians in developing their skills.
- Ensure compliance with all regulations affecting service operations, such as hazardous waste disposal and OHSA Right-to-Know.
- Understand and ensure compliance with manufacturer warranty and policy procedures.
- Assign tasks to technicians in an equal and fair manner.
- Provide technical support when necessary.
- Ensure repairs are charged out correctly.
- Maintain high-quality service repairs and minimize comebacks.
- Conduct regular performance reviews.
- Road test vehicles to quality-check work performed.
- Establish and maintain customer follow-up programs.
- Handle customer complaints within 24 hours.
- Manage department performance using various tools.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Technician.
- Valid Driver's Licence.
- Grade 12 / Matric.
- Minimum 1 year of workshop foreman experience.
