SUMMARY:
We are recruiting for an experienced Workshop Foreman to lead operations within a busy transport environment. This role oversees both the workshop and wash bay, ensuring all trailer repairs, maintenance, and operational standards are consistently met.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise workshop and wash bay teams
Manage job cards, work orders, and records
Oversee repairs on tautliner and tipper trailers
Ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to deadlines
Enforce health & safety standards
Manage scheduling, task allocation, and team performance
Maintain workshop equipment and ensure operational readiness
Handle staff training, onboarding, and performance oversight

Requirements:

Qualified Mechanic (or similar)
Minimum 2+ years workshop experience in transport/logistics
Proven experience working on tautliner and/or tipper trailers
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
Computer literate with job card systems
Able to work overtime and weekends when required
Medically fit
