POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team of technicians and apprentices within the workshop.
• Oversee the maintenance, repair, and servicing of all vehicles.
• Oversee daily workshop activities and technician support.
• Handle team management, stock control, reporting, and safety compliance.
• Maintain strong customer and supplier relationships.
• Drive efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Ensuring jobs are completed in a timeous manner and of a high standard.
• Ensuring workshop housekeeping and operating practices are of a high standard
• Reinforcing correct safety behaviors, reporting all hazards and incidents.
• Providing workshop reports weekly to management

• Matric (Grade 12) and a relevant technical qualification
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the motor industry
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent knowledge of workshop operations, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations applicable to the manufacturing industry
• Record-keeping techniques
