SUMMARY:
Our client in George is seeking a Workshop Technician responsible for the repair, servicing, and upkeep of golf course equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance, safety, and compliance with environmental and operational standards.

POSITION INFO:
Description:

• Repair, service, and maintain golf course equipment and machinery to ensure reliable operation.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with environmental, safety, and efficiency standards.
• Keep machinery clean, well-maintained, and serviced at prescribed intervals.
• Maintain accurate records of fuel inventory, servicing, and machine maintenance schedules.
• Identify potential mechanical issues and perform preventative maintenance.
• Assist the maintenance team with general support and operational tasks as required.

• Minimum Grade 12 qualification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• At least 3 years’ experience in a golf maintenance workshop or a similar environment involving small machinery and diesel engines.
• Practical knowledge of mechanical repairs, servicing, and preventative maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
