Optimise existing strategies
Create KIPs for IT department
Measure KPIs regularly
Oversee the hire of roles within department
Assess and authorise department purchases
Oversee department budgets
Plan and oversee your department's projects

Qualifications to be a Chief Information Officer

Great interpersonal and communication skills
Extensive xperience as CIO or similar role
Outstanding knowledge of various IT systems
Extensive knowledge in designing
Expertise in developing IT systems

Strong organisational and time management skills
Very good communication and people skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
