Salary: R600/R650 000.00 per annum
Location: JHB | Remote (South Africa-based, with regional travel)

We’re looking for an Area Manager to oversee a portfolio of retail stores, drive performance, and ensure operational excellence across your region. Company Head office is based on Cape Town with operations throughout SA.

POSITION INFO:
🔍 About the Role:
As an Area Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day performance and strategic execution of multiple retail locations. You’ll work closely with store teams to ensure compliance, boost sales, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Note: This role requires regular travel within your assigned region and occasional visits to Cape Town. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are essential.

✅ Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and support the operations of multiple retail stores
• Monitor store performance and implement improvement strategies
• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal standards, and operational procedures
• Collaborate with head office teams including supply chain, HR, and finance
• Coach and develop store managers and their teams
• Conduct regular store visits and audits
• Assist in planning and executing regional sales strategies

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar retail management or area manager role
• Strong understanding of retail operations, compliance, and performance metrics
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or related field (advantageous)
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle (essential)
• Willingness to travel regionally and to Cape Town as needed
• Confident, self-motivated, and results-driven with strong leadership skills
