SUMMARY:
One of our top clients based in Gauteng, is seeking to appoint 2 x Power Plant Managers.

POSITION INFO:

Work with technical staff in supervisory role, but also have to jump in and assist on technical/ practical level if required.

Manage big power generator – glorified mechanic – has been a foreman previously

Manage huge machinery normally found on power plants

Will also work in Africa and travel extensively – work on 6,2,9,3 principals

6 weeks onsite and 2 weeks off, and so on – to be discussed in more detail

Will work in West Africa mostly but also Eastern Africa

Must be South African citizen

Excellent proficiency in English is required, other language proficiencies is not a prerequisite such as French, Portuguese, etc.

All will be paid for in terms of travel, accommodation, all travel costs.

Normal mechanical trade qualifications required, N2, N3, with extensive years of experience or to N6 level with lower experience levels
