JOB SUMMARY:
Our client is a favourite South African brand, highly popular and very busy. They need an experienced and articulate individual to manage vendor accounts, with emphasis on reconciliations, payments and queries. Reporting to the Senior Creditors Controller as the second in command!

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum Requirements:

Degree or Diploma in Finance/Accounting
3 years plus Creditors and Accounting/Reconciliation experience
SAP experience - advantage

Skills and Competencies:

A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to solve complex problems, and understand and quickly learn new systems and processes
Good planning and organisational skills
Excellent time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure
Team player
Proactive
Reliability and integrity

Key Performance Areas:

Reconcile accounts payable
Allocate expenses to general ledger to ensure accurate financial reporting
Prepare documents for data capture
Collate creditors documents and prepare payments
Respond to, analyse and resolve supplier and other stakeholder queries and complaints
Communicate information to suppliers and other stakeholders
Prioritise effectively as the pressure is on!
