ACCOUNTANT - PIETERMARITZBURG

JOB DESCRIPTION:

RedCat Recruitment is urgently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced ACCOUNTANT for a well-established concern, position based in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal.

JOB DESCRIPTION / REQUIREMENTS

Grade 12.

Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet). Working experience on Sage Evolution a strong advantage.

BCom Degree in Financial Accounting / NQF Level 6 or equivalent.

Professional membership to an accounting body will be an added advantage.

5yrs+ previous experience as an Accountant / Assistant Accountant or a similar role in a medium to large organization.

Person will report directly to the Finance Manager.

Ability to work independently and balance multiple tasks simultaneously.

Excellent organizational and planning skills with the ability to prioritize time and work effectively.

Pay attention to detail, displays a high level of integrity and is deadline driven.

Duties include cashbook, balance sheet, staff management, finance / administration, debtors, reporting, internal controls, record keeping, other related duties.
