APPS DBA with JDE experience

SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced APPS Database Administrator (DBA) with strong JD Edwards (JDE) experience to support and maintain enterprise application databases.
This role is based in Pretoria with a hybrid model, offering mainly remote work.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Administer, maintain, and support application databases (with a focus on JDE environments)
• Ensure database availability, performance, security, and integrity
• Perform database monitoring, tuning, backups, and recovery
• Support application upgrades, patches, and system enhancements
• Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide timely resolutions
• Work closely with application, infrastructure, and support teams
• Maintain technical documentation and follow best practices

• Proven experience as an APPS DBA
• Strong hands-on experience with JD Edwards (JDE)
• Experience supporting databases in enterprise environments
• Solid understanding of database performance tuning, backup, and recovery
• Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid setup
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
