AUDIT MANAGER

Our client is a proudly South African audit, tax, and advisory firm driven by purpose, people, and passion. They are growing their dynamic team and are looking for an Audit Manager to lead with integrity, inspire excellence, and help build a better future for clients and the community.

The Audit Manager will play a key leadership role in planning, executing, and finalising audits across a diverse portfolio. This role combines hands-on technical responsibility with people management and client relationship development.

POSITION INFO:
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead the planning, execution, and finalisation of audit assignments
Review working papers and completed audit files for quality and compliance
Communicate directly with clients and resolve technical issues effectively
Mentor and develop audit trainees and junior clerks
Ensure adherence to IRBA regulations and internal quality control standards
Contribute to continuous improvement in audit processes and methodologies
Maintain strong professional relationships with clients and stakeholders

REQUIREMENTS:

Completed SAICA Articles
At least 2 years’ post-articles experience in an audit management or supervisory role
Bilingual – Fluent in both Afrikaans and English (spoken and written)
Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and ISA
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities
