JOB SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking an assistant audit manager and or audit senior to join their team of professionals in Worcester.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Primary responsibilities including but not limited to:

Reporting directly to the audit managers and director
Planning, execution & review of audit and other engagement files (compilation of financial statements, independent reviews and agreed upon procedures)
Training of staff
Audit and other engagement administration
Client and director liaison
Relationship development and self-development
Preparing tax computations and completing tax returns timeously
Monitoring audit budgets and meeting deadlines
Staying up to date with the latest technical standards and ensuring all work is in line with latest standards

Desired experience and requirements:

Above average technical ability (IFRS for SME’s, Companies Act, International Standards of Auditing)
Strong project management skills
Emotional intelligence
Excellent communication skills
Strong project management skills
Team player
Self-motivated
Ability to cope under pressure and achieve deadlines
Experience in compilations, reviews and audits (including attorney trust, estate agent, body corporate, SME audits).

Minimum requirements:

Completed SAICA articles
Competed BCom degree or in progress
Working knowledge of CaseWare, Excel and Word
Own transport, a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
Fluent in Afrikaans and English
