SUMMARY:
Job Opportunity: AWS Developer (Advanced) | 3-Year Renewable Contract

Location: Hybrid – Menlyn (8 days in the office per month, subject to manager discretion)
Contract Period: 01 October 2025 – 31 December 2028 (renewal based on Performance / Project availability)
Nationality: South African citizens/residents preferred. Applicants with valid work permits (must be 18+ months) will also be considered.

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced AWS Developer (Advanced) to join our dynamic M-Reporting & Analytics team. This is a 3-year renewable contract (renewal subject to performance and project availability). If you’re passionate about cloud technologies, serverless development, and building scalable solutions on AWS, this role is for you.

POSITION INFO:
Essential Skills & Experience

• Cloud Technologies: AWS Serverless Development, Migration, Architecture
  Terraform, AWS CDK, AWS Glue
• GitHub, Python, SQL
• Experience in Agile delivery models
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience, with exposure to international teams

• Basic understanding of German
• AWS QuickSight, Athena, Lambda, API Gateway
• Typescript/Angular Front End

• Migrate services and applications to AWS and provide ongoing support
• Implement DevOps practices for AWS Glue jobs and workflows (automation, monitoring, ETL processes)
• Develop and maintain serverless applications with AWS Lambda using Python
• Apply company-standard security best practices
• Collaborate closely with product owners, developers, and international teams
• Provide support and troubleshooting for production issues
