SUMMARY:
Are you an experienced cloud architect with a passion for building secure, scalable, and cost-effective AWS solutions? A client is seeking a highly skilled AWS Solutions Architect to lead critical cloud initiatives and drive real business impact within a forward-thinking, innovation-driven team.

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities

Designing and implementing best-practice AWS cloud solutions.
Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical designs.
Leading cloud migration efforts from on-premise environments to AWS.
Recommending and implementing AWS services and third-party tools.
Creating architecture diagrams, documentation, and design specifications.
Optimizing AWS environments for cost, performance, and security.
Implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
Mentoring junior engineers and providing technical leadership.
Keeping up to date with AWS innovations and industry trends.

Minimum Requirements

7+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with a strong focus on AWS.
5+ years optimizing cloud environments for cost-efficiency and performance.
AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional or Associate) or equivalent certification.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or higher degree in Data Analytics, Engineering, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Computational Mathematics, Quantitative Fields, Computer Science, or Finance.

Key Competencies

Proficiency in designing cloud-native applications and microservices.
Strong hands-on experience with core AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, etc.).
Solid knowledge of cloud networking, security, and compliance.
Infrastructure-as-code experience with tools like Terraform or AWS CDK.
Scripting/automation skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
