Account Executive (Technology & Public Sector)

SUMMARY:
Our client an enterprise technology services company specializing in intelligent digital operations based in Centurion is urgently looking for an Account Executive (Technology & Public Sector) to protect and maintain the value of business' existing technology and public sector relationship by providing integrated stewardship of the client relationship, contractual obligations, service-performance oversight, commercial outcomes, governance, risk and measurable value realisation.

POSITION INFO:
In order to be considered the following is required: 8+ years of relevant experience in enterprise technology, managed services, strategic account management, client governance, contract leadership or a comparable senior environment Demonstrated accountability for a complex existing contract or strategic account with multiple stakeholders, material service obligations and commercial consequences Executive client engagement experience, including difficult governance, escalation or performance conversations Practical exposure to SLA-driven services, service escalations, contractual obligations, commercial governance, audit \/ risk requirements and evidence-based reporting Commercial and financial literacy across revenue, margin, billing, debtors, service credits, forecasts, cost risk and contract change Ability to lead a matrix team, establish clear RASCI and hold accountable owners to commitments without relying solely on direct authority Strong executive writing, presentation, facilitation, negotiation, dispute-prevention and escalation capability. Bachelor degree \/ NQF 7 in a relevant discipline or equivalent evidence of senior role complexity and impact, subject to approval Willingness and eligibility to complete reference, qualification, background, security and client-access checks where required Experience in managed services, IT service management, SIAM, observability, AIOps, platform operations, systems integration or telecommunications Evidence of producing accepted value-realisation, benefits, adoption, account-maturity or renewal \/ extension readiness reporting Postgraduate qualification in business, strategy, leadership, commercial \/ contract management or public administration ITIL 4, contract \/ commercial management, project \/ programme management, COBIT \/ GRC or strategic account \/ customer-success development You will be responsible for delivering: A trusted and well-governed executive relationship with client \/ public sector, supported by deliberate stakeholder coverage and early visibility of material concerns A current, controlled view of contractual obligations, SLA commitments, variations, risks, decisions and material client commitments Transparent integrated oversight of service performance, major incidents, recurring failures and improvement actions without taking over Service Delivery or technical accountability Protected revenue, margin, billing integrity, debtor performance and commercial position through disciplined review and timely escalation Evidence-based value realisation linking service outcomes to client \/ public sector priorities, adoption, maturity and renewal \/ extension readiness Controlled account risk, audit, security, privacy and public-sector governance obligations with accountable closure A disciplined matrix account team with clear ownership, decision routes, operating rhythm and continuity Integrated client, contract, commercial, governance and value outcome for the account Day-to-day service-management execution, SLA process governance, incident\/problem \/ change coordination and operational service improvement Project and programme governance, plans, dependencies, delivery controls and approved work packages Technical decisions, platform reliability, engineering, remediation, architecture and technical assurance Financial control, pricing, billing governance, margin analysis, delegated commercial approvals and financial reporting Legal interpretation, formal risk acceptance, compliance, privacy, security policy and assurance decisions The Account Executive will operate credibly across executive, programme, commercial, operational and control stakeholders while coordinating multiple functions and external delivery dependencies.
