Account Manager

SUMMARY:
Our client, a company focusing on alternative building technology is looking for reliable Account Manager in the Pinetown area.

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications and Experience:

• Relevant qualification.
• Matric.
• At least 2-4 years of Account Management experience.
• Must be accurate and attention to detail is key.
• Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time.
• Must have a great personality and drive to succeed in challenging but achievable targets.

Job Responsibilities:

• Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account matters.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
• Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximise profits.
• Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
• Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs.
• Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop new business with existing clients  and new clients.
• Forecast and track key account metrics.
• Prepare reports on account status.
• Draw up quotes for potential clients.
• Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory.
• Assist with challenging client requests or issues and escalate them as needed.
