Account Manager

If so, this opportunity may be for you!  Our Client is a specialist cause-marketing and implementation agency – they specialise in socially responsible strategies that bridge the gap between the greater good and the bottom line.  Their team works exclusively with brands wanting to make a difference, sustainable brands and large not-for-profit organisations and they are looking for an Account Manager to join their busy agency.

The successful candidate would be responsible for the following:

• Client liaison
• Coordinating and managing promotions and events from end-to-end; including creating and managing a detailed project plan from inception to execution
• Sourcing quotes
• Preparing budgets
• Liaising with service providers
• Trafficking artwork between designers, copy writers and client
• Collating feedback
• Preparing presentations
• Sending meeting agenda’s / minutes

Skills:

• Excellent command of the English language (written and verbal)
• Excellent attention to detail
• Minimum of 3 years’ below-the-line marketing project management experience
• Ability to solve problems
• Confidence to communicate with clients effectively

Requirements:

• A can-do attitude
• A drivers license and own car
• Willingness to get ‘hands-on’ to ensure excellence in execution
• Qualification in marketing, PR, events or project management
• Experience in working on marketing related projects / campaigns
• Ability to travel for work when required
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Passion for people and the planet
• Needs to be a team player

Advantageous:

• Copywriting experience
• Ability to speak and write in one or more African language
