JOB SUMMARY:
We are recruiting an Account Manager for a leading Tradigital Publishing Company based in Gauteng

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The successful candidate must fulfill the following minimum requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

Must have Grade 12
Qualification related to Marketing and or Publishing would be an added advantage
Must be computer literate
Must have great knowledge working on MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint

Candidates must-haves:

Creativity, ability to ideate big ideas, thinking out of the box
Strategic
Deadline-driven - must be able to work in high pressured environments
Be able to put briefs together for media, clients and influencers
Media connections are a big bonus
Writing ability
Great at building relationships
Thorough understanding of PR and how it fits into the brand/marketing mix
Know whats happening in terms of culture and "on the ground", trends, whats happening on social media, in the world of influencers, current events etc

Roles and Responsibilities

Conduct weekly status meetings
Document minutes of the meetings and conversations and action them as part of the status report
Update weekly status reports and PR hits per client each Friday
Update ROI reports every Friday from 13:00 across all your designated accounts
Compile powerpoint presentations on going for client to review pitch suggestions, quarterly and annual strategies
Conceptualisation / ideating across brand campaigns: executing the strategic plan set out per client with action reports weekly
Compiling the presentations, calendars and timelines per campaign
Identifying, ideating distinctive sharable and trend-worthy ideas for MACRO, MICRO and nano strategies
Writing up of social media/influencer programs and digital solutions across client portfolios
Briefing of required press releases per client
Writing of press releases
Assisting with compiling media frameworks per client per quarter review

Preference would be given to HDSA candidates
