Accountable Manager Operations

SUMMARY:

Our client in the Aviation Industry has a requirement for a disciplined Accountable Manager Operations for both their Dbn and Jhb operations.
Required person for Africa support , a team leader with strong communication and problem-solving skills and excellent knowledge of the SACAA regulations to fill this position based in Johannesburg.

POSITION INFO:

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: -

• Develop and implement systems and controls to enable the effective functioning of all sections under your control in the AMO (including Remote Pilot Aircraft Systems) and ensure maximum availability of aircraft and related equipment.
• Set annual plans and budgets for Group approval which cover the resources, spares,and spares programs needed to provide the maintenance services in Africa and preparation of the overall client maintenance organisation and budget.
• Provide informed cost analysis for new contracts to client Operations and ensure strict control of these budgets post contract award for implementation and monthly maintenance operating costs for the aircraft and personnel allocated.
• Control and manage the accounting and administration systems and resources to optimise efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

QUALIFICATIONS AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Qualified Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME Licence holder).

•Business Management Diploma/Degree.

• Safety and Quality Assurance Certification.

• Rotorcraft and Fixed Wing type ratings applicable to AMO approved Scope of Work.

• +- Eight years knowledge and experience in development and management of aircraft maintenance logistical support systems with a proven track record of achievements in previous roles.

• +- Eight years relevant experience in the aircraft maintenance environment with a proven track record of achievements in previous roles.
