Accountant & HR Administrator

SUMMARY:
Minimum Requirements: • Matric. • Relevant degree in Accounting or Finance. • Experience in the insurance or assurance industry – advantageous. • Experience in Budgeting, IFRS, General Accounting, Bookkeeping and Payroll. • Knowledge of Pastel and Excel. • HR Management Process knowledge and the relevant legislation.

POSITION INFO:

Main responsibilities:

• Employee file information collection.
• Record keeping of employee files.
• Performance management assistance.
• Company policies and procedure maintenance.
• Assisting with training and development.
• Record keeping of internal training and registers.
• Forming part of the Health and Safety and Employment Equity Committees.
• Intercompany transfer management.
• Inter-company invoice and transfer preparation and payment.
• Responsible for the claim payment processes.
• Customer and supplier invoices processing and management.
• Bank account reconciliation.
• Performing monthly journals, account management and management analysis.
• Financial forecast and budget compilation.
• External and internal audit preparation responsibilities.
• Ad-Hoc task assistance.
• PAYE submission assistance.
• Monthly check and reconciliation of payroll, debit orders and cash split files.
• Monthly submission of payment file.
• Monthly submission of payment instruction to employees.
• Assist in the recruitment process.
• Induction process assistance.
