POSITION INFO:

Property management and investment company seeking assistance of a qualified temp Accountant to join their dynamic team. If you are detail orientated, enjoy working with numbers and looking for a temporary assignment, this job is for you! Asap start.

Responsibilities:

Bookkeeping to trial balance for various separate companies that form part of a bigger group
Manage intercompany accounts ensure they are maintained and reconciled monthly
Reconcile Creditors and Debtors
Reconcile rental schedules from Payprop to Pastel
Bank Recons
VAT returns
Maintain tenant accounts on Payprop, load leases, adjust tenant accounts
Ensure debit and credit note request forms are maintained per Company Policies
Reconcile payments in Payprop
Manage arrears schedules

Requirements:

Minimum of a completed tertiary qualification in Financial Accounting or similar
Minimum of 2 - 3 years previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, assistant accountant
Previous experience working with Pastel/Pastel Partner, Excel and Outlook
Detail orientated, committed
Able to work well within a team
Able to commit to a 3 month contract
