POSITION INFO:
Our client is a rapidly expanding logistics and freight solutions provider, renowned for efficiency and customer-first service. As a Junior Accountant, you’ll play a key role in supporting financial operations across multiple branches, ensuring accurate reporting, cost control, and compliance. You’ll work closely with senior finance leaders while gaining exposure to large-scale operations that are shaping the future of logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
Perform reconciliations (bank, creditors, debtors, intercompany).
Support month-end and year-end close processes.
Monitor operating costs and support cost-control initiatives.
Maintain accurate records for audit and compliance purposes.
Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders (suppliers, auditors, banks).
Ensure adherence to company policies and financial best practices.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

3–5 years post-qualification experience in accounting/finance.
Strong knowledge of IFRS, reconciliations, and month-end processes.
Exposure to logistics, transport, or supply chain environments advantageous.
Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems (SAP / Sage / similar).
Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
