POSITION INFO:
My client is a multi-entity organisation based in Cape Town's CBD, and they are looking for a skilled Accountant to take ownership of core financial functions and ensure accurate, insightful financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting & Analysis:
  • Prepare monthly management accounts for multiple entities.
  • Perform variance analysis and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
  • Ensure timely month-end and year-end close processes.
• Accounts Receivable & Sales Invoicing:
  • Manage the full accounts receivable cycle, including customer reconciliations and debt follow-up.
  • Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices in line with service delivery milestones.
• Foreign Currency Transactions:
  • Process and reconcile foreign currency payments and transactions.
  • Monitor exchange rate fluctuations and ensure proper accounting treatment.
• Revenue & Billing Functions:
  • Oversee revenue recognition processes in line with company policies.
  • Collaborate with operations and sales teams to ensure accurate and timely billing and revenue accruals.

• Education – BCom Accounting Degree minimum
• Experience – 2–4 years of experience working across multiple entities and multi-currency environments
• Skills – Xero
