Requirements:

• Completed BCom Accounting degree (essential)
• Proven experience in full bookkeeping/accounting to trial balance
• Strong understanding of SARS submissions and related legislation
• Must hold a valid certification in Sage Pastel and be able to demonstrate practical experience using the software
• Excellent, accuracy, attention to detail and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Record and reconcile all transactions up to trial balance level
• Prepare monthly management accounts
• Handle all SARS submissions and reconciliations, including UIF, VAT, EMP501, and VAT control accounts
• Maintain HP bond and salary reconciliations
• Manage depreciation and fixed asset schedules
• Balance and reconcile loan accounts
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and Company procedures
• Liaison with the company’s auditors to facilitate the completion of the audit and annual financial statements
