Opportunity for an Accountant

POSITION INFO:
A well-established, international supply chain company with over 50 years of industry leadership is seeking an Accountant to join its growing finance team. This role sits close to operations and will work directly with logistics, warehousing and distribution teams to ensure accurate financial control and reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, hands-on Accountant who enjoys working in a fast-paced, operational environment.

Duties:

Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
Monitor and control logistics and warehouse costs
Support inventory, freight, and distribution cost reporting
Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
Maintain strong internal controls and support audits
Work closely with warehouse and operations teams to ensure accurate financial data

Education and experience:

BCom in Accounting or similar
Minimum 5 years’ accounting experience
Experience in logistics, warehousing, distribution or supply chain strongly preferred
