A leading multinational operation in Middelburg is seeking a commercially strong Accountant to manage the full finance function across two sites and partner closely with operations and senior management.

Key Responsibilities

Monthly management accounts and cost analysis per site
Budget vs actual reporting and variance analysis
Weekly, quarterly & rolling forecasts (Hyperion Planning)
Cash flow management, AR tracking & Capex reporting
Full month-end close and reconciliations
VAT201 submissions & statutory reporting
Intercompany invoicing and audit support
Inventory counts and Capex reconciliations
Supplier payment reviews (incl. international)
Provide financial insights to support operational strategy

Requirements

BCom Degree / Honours
4 years commercial experience
IFRS / US GAAP knowledge
Forecasting & controlling experience essential
Advanced Excel
ERP experience advantageous (JD Edwards, Oracle, Hyperion)
Strong analytical and commercial skills
Able to work in a high-pressure operational environment
Valid driver’s license
Must be medically fit (operational site requirement)
