SUMMARY:
An opportunity exists for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join a dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting accurate financial reporting, overseeing bookkeeping functions, reviewing payroll and timesheets, and ensuring timely completion of reconciliations and ad hoc accounting tasks. This role requires strong analytical ability, excellent Excel proficiency, and clear communication skills.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Perform and oversee monthly and ad hoc account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
Review employee timesheets for accuracy and completeness prior to payroll processing
Review and support payroll processing, ensuring compliance with internal controls and company policies
Supervise and guide the Bookkeeper to ensure accurate, consistent, and timeous financial processing
Assist with and/or review general ledger postings and month-end processing tasks
Handle ad hoc financial processing and accounting duties as required
Support the preparation of accurate financial information for reporting purposes
Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting variances timeously
Maintain organised and compliant financial records

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Proven experience as a Financial Accountant or in a similar accounting role
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 16:30
Friday: 08:00 – 16:00
Saturday: 08:00 – 14:00
