POSITION INFO:

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be right at the centre of the finance function, making sure everything is accurate, compliant, and running efficiently:

Owning the integrity of the general ledger and financial records
Producing monthly management accounts that are both accurate and insightful
Supporting budgeting processes and ongoing forecasting
Keeping the business compliant with all relevant accounting standards and statutory requirements
Managing tax-related submissions (VAT, PAYE, income tax, etc.)
Acting as the key contact for auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies
Strengthening and maintaining internal controls and financial processes
Overseeing accounts payable and receivable to ensure smooth cash flow
Managing payroll preparation and reviewing payment runs
Maintaining fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
Monitoring cash flow and working capital to support business stability and growth

What we’re looking for

We’re after someone technically strong, but also commercially aware and detail-driven:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Completed SAICA articles
Minimum 3 - 5 years’ relevant experience in an accounting/finance role
Solid understanding of accounting principles and taxation
A proactive mindset — someone who takes ownership and doesn’t wait to be asked
