SUMMARY:
A well-established hospitality group is seeking an experienced Accountant to join their finance team based in Menlyn. This opportunity offers exposure to a fast-paced, service-driven environment with a strong focus on operational finance and reporting.

POSITION INFO:
Job & Company Description:
This Accountant will be responsible for managing the full accounting function within a hotel environment, ensuring accurate reporting, cost control, and effective financial processes. This role is ideal for someone with hospitality or property exposure who enjoys working closely with operations

Duties:

Full accounting function up to trial balance
Preparation of financial reports
Balance sheet reconciliations
Month-end and year-end processes
Cost control and variance analysis
Supporting stock takes and inventory management
Assisting with audit and compliance requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

BCom Accounting (articles advantageous)
5–8 years’ experience in a similar role
Experience within hospitality or property sector essential
Advanced MS Excel skills
Exposure to stock take processes advantageous
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
