POSITION INFO:
Company and Job Description: An established organisation is looking for an Accountant to join its finance team in Sandton. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced finance professional who enjoys working across multiple entities, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the broader finance function. The successful candidate will take ownership of the full bookkeeping function while working with an investment portfolio and multiple business entities. This role offers excellent stability, broad accounting exposure, and the opportunity to become a valued member of a professional finance team. Key Responsibilities: Financial Accounting Manage the full bookkeeping function up to Trial Balance Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports Perform bank, balance sheet, and general ledger reconciliations Process journals and maintain accurate accounting records Multi-Entity Finance Maintain accounting records across multiple entities Process intercompany transactions and reconciliations Assist with month-end and year-end reporting Ensure financial information is accurate and complete Compliance & Financial Administration Prepare VAT submissions and statutory returns Support external audit processes Maintain fixed asset registers and supporting schedules Assist with cash flow monitoring and financial reporting Job Experience and Skills Required: Qualifications: BCom Degree in Accounting or Finance Experience: Minimum 5 years' accounting or bookkeeping experience Experience working across multiple entities essential Exposure to investment portfolios advantageous Stable employment history preferred Skills & Competencies: Strong Microsoft Excel skills Excellent reconciliation and analytical abilities High attention to detail Strong organisational and time management skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Apply now!
