Statutory Reporting & Statements: Formulate, compile, and review pristine monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with accounting frameworks. Ledger Quality & Balance Sheet Control: Execute deep-dive balance sheet reconciliations, process adjusting journals, and safeguard the absolute structural integrity of all corporate records. Forward Planning & Treasury Analysis: Actively assist senior executives with strategic budgeting models, rolling financial forecasting, and operational cash flow management. Taxation, Controls & Audit Governance: Manage compliance across statutory tax regulations and internal corporate policies, while serving as the primary corporate contact to facilitate smooth external audit processes. Process Engineering: Evaluate existing financial workflows to introduce modern control enhancements and reporting efficiencies. Job Experience and Skills Required: Formal Education: A completed BCom Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related commercial discipline. Professional Foundation: Successfully completed SAICA or SAIPA training articles are an absolute prerequisite. Experience Track: A minimum of 4 to 6 years of solid, reference-backed commercial accounting experience post-articles. Systems & Digital Mastery: Strong, hands-on proficiency utilizing CaseWare for financial reporting, alongside advanced operational command of Microsoft Excel.
