Location:  Muizenberg Cape Town Crusaders Corporate is a busy Import and Wholesale business. We are looking for an experienced and capable Accountant to join our Cape Town Head Office. Are you an experienced accountant looking to play a key role in a dynamic import and distribution business? We are seeking a commercially minded Accountant with strong technical accounting skills and a keen eye for detail to join our finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement are valued. Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports. Perform reconciliations through to balance sheet level. Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and ensure accurate financial records. Manage inventory accounting, landed costs, and import cost allocations. Ensure accurate product costing and margin reporting. Reconcile supplier accounts, bank accounts, and balance sheet control accounts. Assist with month-end and year-end financial close processes. Support external auditors and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Identify process improvements and strengthen financial controls. Minimum Requirements BCom Accounting or equivalent tertiary qualification. SAIPA, CIMA, or SAICA articles\/qualification will be advantageous. Minimum 5 years' accounting experience, preferably within an import, wholesale, manufacturing, or distribution environment. Strong understanding of: Inventory accounting Import costings and landed costs Balance sheet reconciliations General ledger accounting Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with ERP\/accounting systems. High level of accuracy, analytical ability, and attention to detail. You are someone who: Takes ownership of your work.
